Greymark
Hello fellow tattoo lovers! My name is Anthony and I'm from the eastern coast of Canada (Nova Scotia to be exact). I was hoping to introduce myself and maybe get a few ideas or feedback from some of the forum users here. I currently have two tattoos and have recently finished my first sitting of a half sleeve on my left upper arm. The theme I am hoping to stick with is Time, or the passage of time anyway. The outside portion of my arm is mostly complete with an hour glass, a pocket watch, some roses, and shading/negative space for filler. I am still trying to come up with some ideas for things to complete the inside of my arm! I was wondering if anybody could think of anything that would flow well with that theme and fill the space... I'm open to pretty much anything. My thoughts so far were maybe an old tattered scroll or stone tablet engraved with a quote about how precious time is, but im not sure how well it would flow. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, im open to animals/skulls/trees/etc just about anything you might think would be cool (Even if it may stray slightly from the topic, aslong as looks good). My next sitting is November 14th. Big thank you in advance, and sorry for the long intro post! - PS I suppose I could post pics of what i have done so far if that might help. Just one three hour sitting so far, thats all the artist had time for that day. Just let me know if you need them!
Graeme
Welcome to LST. And get a skull. It works thematically and always looks rad. You can never go wrong with a skull. daveborjes, LanaZellner and Mark Bee

Joe Shit
A grave stone with your initials, and the date you were born with a question mark after that...And a reaper floating behind it with flames surrounding everything. daveborjes and motsimus

Greymark
After taking the skull/reaper/eventual death aspect of time suggestions into consideration i kind of like that idea i may do like a skull and a raven or something like that that represents death. I especially like the Idea because the outside of my arm with the living roses and time keeping devices represents the active passage of time during life and the inside of my arm would represent the eventual death... Kind of more grim than I was originally thinking when i got the outside done but hey the idea is growing on me.
Shaun1105
Will a sundial be too visually similar to the pocketwatch? You'd want the sundial at an angle instead of head-on. But definitely get the skull and/or the reaper, and a raven is also a great idea. Here's a huge picture for you. (This depicts father time but I'd go with a grim reaper instead)
