Jynarik
I'm about to get another portrait style B&G done. I already have my calf done (from top to bottom and extending a little to the sides of the calf). Will it be odd placement to do a facial style portrait smack in the middle of the front of the leg since it's not a completely flat surface and has some curvature? This will be full size (just under knee to ankle) Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/5547-shin-placement/ Share on other sites
pidjones
Yours is bound to be smoother than mine with all of my blown-up veins and scars. I guess it depends on the individual's shin and the portrait subject (a joker or devil might go real well on an angular shinbone). Get the artist to check it out!
