Pamlico county, very rural, near New Bern. So a couple hours north of Wilmington. Have you checked out Port City Tattoo?

Lol! My husband is from the Kinston area. I got one of mine tattoos done in Jacksonville.

I have not been to Port City but they have been there forever!! I go to Hardwire.

I have not gotten anything from those shops (yet), but several of my friends have tattoos from the artists at Ace Custom Tattoos and they do solid work. Best shop in Charlotte IMO.

I really like Chris Stuart's tattoos, he does really nice traditional stuff.

They put out some great work, I follow them on IG as well, I think they just brought in another great artist as well. The name escapes me right now..

That'd be him!! I'd put him a touch above solid yes, but you're right he's another good traditional artist.
