New and hoping for answers

Howdy. Umm.. I'm Anna. I can be a bit awkward. I live in Florida and recently got my first tattoo (woo!) I do have some more questions tho. My tattoo appears to have an indent in part of it (also happens to be in a part where he did the most shading, if that has any correlation). Its still healing, but I'm not optimistic that it will completely go away. Is this something that I should be worried about?

Don't worry, just wait for it to heal. After about 3 weeks, see how it looks. If there is a problem, contact your tattooer.

It's easy to be over observant, I know I was, but like was already said after 3-4 weeks you'll know more.. As you get more tattoos you'll start to realize there are no perfect tattoos, if you look hard enough you'll find something. Just give it some time.. And even if it's never 'perfect' just get a new tattoo lol

I had just never heard of a tattoo having an indentation like this before, I guess I'll find out more as it heals. It doesn't hurt or anything though, So I'll take that as a good sign.

I am experiencing a similar situation with my first tattoo - what I call craters. It's a week old today. Did yours look anything like my pic attached and how is it looking now 3 days later?

It wasn't nearly quite that bad. It was just one line on the neck of the design.

edit: I'm having a hell of a time getting the stupid picture to show. Its on my gallery though.

Finally got a picture using a friends phone. And yes, my leg is a tad hairy, but its winter.

I'd say just keep waiting. Doesn't look healed up yet, but it also doesn't look wrecked. My guess is it'll end up being fine.

@pcolevr , I think your tattoo may be infected. Taking it to a tattooer might be a good idea. Hard to tell from pics, but that looks pretty bad.
