First session complete, around 5 hours. Still have some outlining to do for the dragon claws and phoenix coming up from my thigh/bum onto lower back. Was surprised how much the kidney area hurt...as bad as ribs! Cant wait for next session.

The patterns/details in the skull are really crazy, they look almost like vortexes or something? (especially in the cheek bones)

Hell yeah that Grime back piece is dope. Love that organic texture as well, he incorporates bits and pieces of bio mechanical into a lot of his tattoos which is distinctly Grime style. Not a fan of the back piece which doesn't flow onto the butt but this one I dig.

Aw damn someone stole my idea of Kongo-yasha! Up until this point I have never seen a back piece with that deity, I must say it looks awesome.

@Cork - your idea may still be safe ;) going off the kings avenue blog, this isn't a representation of Kongo-yasha, but an image of Gundari Myoo, both of which are part of the five great wisdom kings and look pretty similar

Ah yes you are right. I should have known with the snakes, but the standing on lotus' threw me off. Now that my idea is out in the open, no one is allowed to do it. I call dibs.
