Traditional Tattoo Help: Devil holding woman.

Im looking for a classic design of a devil/satan holding a woman and I am having a hard time finding it. I dont think its in one of the books I own and I cant seem to find it on-line. Anyone know who is know for creating this tattoo design or could post one here ot help me out in any way? I think its on a sailor jerry flash but other artists have done them. I am thinking about getting this tattoo sometime but want to see a few examples. Thanks

Edit: The devil is actually beind the woman I think. Its a scaley devil.

I spent 10 minutes looking for it too. I'm pretty sure you are talking about the image that Richard Stell's son has on his stomach? If I remember that correctly.

Yes like the Ryan Cooper Thompson....the devil looks soo sinister. I love this image. Anyone know who did this early on? Maybe some flash images or suggestions of places to look (books). Again, I love that image.

I was pretty sure I'd seen old flash of that image but I'm usually sharp on bookmarking stuff and I can't find it.

I've not seen anything of his that's this dark (in subject matter) but there are similarities between his drawings and the Ryan Cooper Thompson piece. Here:

The one on Stells kid works too. Figures I search off and on and havent found maney of these tattoos are any flash images and you guys find them in no time. Thanks. Ill keep looking. Any other images people find id love to see them.

Bert Grimm produced several stylistically along the lines of the Stell tattoo above you can view them at the lucky tattoo supply museum online page .

Yeah, that's still my feeling too - that Ryan Cooper Thompson piece has to be at least heavily Burchett inspired, if not original Burchett.

I don't know where the design originated but Flash From The Past has a couple of sheets with the design, one from the 1950s from Paul Coman and one from the 1920s with two variations of it by Owen Jensen. I'm not going to post pictures from the book on here though.

Yeah, that Ryan Cooper Thompson tattoo looks like the Bob Wicks design. Wicks is one of my favorites, for sure. I got one of his girls last year.

I wouldn't expect you to....but naming books is good so that when I want to spend money on books I know what books to buy. I've just been frustrated looking for this info and I know I won't be in a tattoo shop for a while.

I know I've seen flash with a devil actually holding the naked woman, not her just standing in front of him. Now it's bothering me that I can't find THAT. Ugh. It's an awesome image for a tattoo!

Great image for sure, but I think the woman's sly expression steals the show on this particular example.
