I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I don't know why, this back piece is using all my tattoo money these days. You never know though ...

Glad to see everybody going. Ive woorked with the show for awhile now Nate and CJ have done a rad job of bringing the show back to the caliber it is now. Be sure to check the page Richmond Tattoo Arts Festival - November 22 – 24, 2013 for artist upadtes and all info. Roster is looking awesome. And with the ability to get a walkup with some of the best around is insane.

Yeah, the roster seems to keep getting better. Details still need to be worked out, but I got an email from Scott Sylvia about getting something done. A buddy of mine is booked with Mario Desa for Saturday. May try and squeeze in a walk up as well. Just booked our hotel too!

It's been years since I've been to Richmond. Anyone have any recommendations for food/drinks/coffee/cool shit?

821 Cafe for food. Very low key tattoo friendly environment.

For coffee, you can't do much better than Lift on Broad St.

For drinks, go to Ipanema. It's directly below Absolute Art.

Thanks @CultExciter. I'll add em all to the list.

No sweat homey. Plus, Brian is fucking awesome. One of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of meeting. He can be a little standoffish, but he is truly genuine in regards to his craft and wanting people to get amazing tattoos.

Well, I won't be making this.. Family stuff the following weekend in McLean so I got tattooed this past Friday. Oh well, maybe next year.

Ray and Shaun from Blue Flame will be there, you guys should check'em out..

I hope to see some tattoos and pics from the convention..

Hey @embers, sorry! I wish I'd seen this earlier or I woulda grabbed you something. I spent a lot a lot time right near the Great Lakes booth since Mario Desa tattooed my friend, and I got done at Blackheart (two booths away).

Also, I'll post a few pics and a little write up in the next few days. I'm heading home tomorrow am.

I was only there Saturday night, and Sunday morning, but it was a good time.

My pal got a really rad lady-head and cobra from Steve Byrne, and I was able to talk to Mr. Sylvia briefly about planning a trip to Blackheart.
