Learning to Draw...

What is the best way to learn how to draw?

Now imagine the level of skill a handcuffed crab would have.... that is the level i am on.

Any suggestions? Would love to be able to draw.

Mental effort. Hard work and repetition.

In my opinion drawing (like most 'creative' endeavours) is roughly:

30% physical,

60% mental (around two thirds of this percentage is learning to 'see' the rest is thinking and analysing)

10% talent.

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Get the book and work your way though it. My wife teaches drawing and used it to teach me. I couldn't draw a stick figure before this, now I just suck! :-)

I just picked up that one from the library. I really like it!

wow that's quite a question.....perseverence from an early age.....tattooing is not a reason to start drawing in my opinion, drawing for the sake of drawing ,awesome....but I should hope that's not youre angle.

Draw daily...EVERY day. Oh, and take some art classes.
