CaptCanada
Well next week I'll be flying to california, but I have a 7 hour layover in Seattle. Is there anything close enough to do, or should I just stay at the airport? Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/3931-sea-tac/ Share on other sites
beez
Bleh, there is nothing really close, but if you feel like venturing you could take the light rail into downtown in a little under an hour. This would prob stress me out too much, even with a 7 hour layover, but it's very easy to do. Seattle Light Rail Sea-tac to Westlake takes you right into the center of downtown. CaptCanada
Well dang, I was hoping i wouldn't have to wonder around another airport for a bunch of hours. But O' well. Pleadco
That's quite the layover. Yeah, the area immediately around seatac is kind of a hole, but there are some beautiful parks not too far away, and Seattle would be cool to visit. Pike place market (there is a badass little donut stand) space needle, and some fun restaurants on the pier. Regardless if you leave the airport though, a small amount of comfort can be taken from the fact that seatac is a pretty nice airport with plenty of restaurants and a good little book store. else
Sea-Tac isn't bad as far as airports go. I would browse some shops, drink some coffee, pick up a book, look out the windows... Hands On
a 7 hour layover sounds like a 4hr tattoo at Liberty with 3hrs to get from and back to the airport! that's enough time to get thru traffic and security, no prob! I was thinking something like that but I'm planning to go to Spider Murphy's. So my tattoo funds are taken. Great idea thou.
