Hey guys,

I actually joined because i needed a good resource for tattoo information and knowledge. I stumbled upon you guys on the recommendation of a friend. Great to be here look forward to contributing.

I actually just happened to get my 2nd tattoo (or at least the outline for my sleeve). Can you guys tell me if this is part of the normal healing process (tiny red bumps, super itchy). The other tattoo i have on my ribs didn't get red like this, have bumps or itch this badly. Just hoping its not a staph infection. I followed all the correct after care instructions for both of my tattoo's. And on the sleeve it is only the lower portion (about where your t-shirt would end) that is causing me issue, the upper shoulder part has healed perfectly. The tattoo is a little over 2 weeks old. Just wondering if this is normal due to the more sensitive area of lower bicep/tricep. I attached some pics any responses would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

@jmcdonald18 ok ok. Never really heard much about those shops. Like most of the folks on this board, we are partial to Jinx Proof and Tattoo Paradise. You can't go wrong with Karl Hedgepath, Vinse One, Dave Waugh, Shawn Brown, Tony Morrell, or Nikki Balls in my opinion. Those shops have a shit ton of talent that I am failing to list, however.

In Arlington, there was Keepsake Tattoo, but they recently closed their doors.

As we usually say if you think there might be a problem with the healing of a tattoo, please speak with the tattooer and/or your local doctor. The person who tattooed you usually knows a thing or two about what is going on with your fresh tattoo. I also share the same sentiment with the others above in regards to possibly venturing to other shops and seeing their work.
