Just another way for people who don't like tattoos but want to "be tattooed" to do so , one step below white ink tattoos. Honestly I haven't heard any one speak about Blacklight tattoos in a couple of years, and usually just someone with no tattoos tagging along with a friend who is getting tattooed to ask questions about tattoos.

To be honest, The blacklight tattoos don't really do anything for me. If I'm going to get a tattoo on my body, I want something that is visible to see whenever I want. Others may like it, but it's just not something that interests me.

I know a girl who wants one, as far as I know she only has one small tattoo at this point. She talks about getting blacklight ink incorporated into a larger piece so there is a hidden element to it. She's also into raves or drug party dance music or whatever, so that probably has something to do with it.

The ectasy frying her brain probably has a lot to do with that, but nothing wrong with partyin a little while you are young I guess, and her blacklight tattoo, will be the equivalent to 90's armband tattoo that a lot of people regret.

I understand why some think it'll add a bit 'more' to a visible tattoo, but I wouldn't do it personally (probably because I'm NEVER around black lights? Lol).

Ugh, white ink tattoos. There's quite a few young women where I live who want, like, or have white ink tattoos.

Yep, usually tattoos for people who don't want tattoos...and as a general rule in life, if it glows, running from it usually makes more sense than pushing it into your skin.

I don't tend to go anywhere where there are blacklights, so would be a complete waste of time and money for me too.

Even if that were not the case I can't say I would want a tattoo that only showed up when I was exposed to certain light. It seems that with the highly developed art that tattooers are producing now, to have simple work that is only visible at a rave is a waste of skin!

There is black light tattoos that are visible in regular light, I have one. Its green and orange but it glows in UV light.

Personally its not my thing and feel its a trend while your young. I mean how often are you going to go clubbing or under ultraviolet light when your older?

Blacklight tattoos are incredible, it just looks so ethereal and unnatural(in a good way).

But for me personally, its more of a question of how often I would be under a blacklight to enjoy it.

If you're not at a club/rave all the time when really will you see it?

There is no such thing as a bad question. Except questions questioning the legitimacy of glow in the dark tattoos. Those are always welcome to promote ridicule.
