I just got my first tattoo last month, and just got another last week. You can say I already love it. But my favorite tattoo (out of two) is my recent. So my whole life I moved around because my dad is in the Coast Guard. 7 different states, 20 different homes. But out of anywhere I live, I consider Oregon to be my true home, which is why everywhere is blank except Oregon. It's all about my dad and my memory of him and getting the closure i needed 8 years after he passed. I said I don't know an ashtray? So he drew it on a cocktail napkin, I paid the tab and back to the shop for some after hours tattooing. The lucky horseshoe with a black cat in the middle of it (story of my life). It never fails to bring a smile to my face. Due to my pipe cleaner sized arms it's near impossible to get a clean picture of the whole thing. I forgot even getting this because it was just some little thing I got while I was getting a larger tattoo. On my leg it looks like the eagle and a panther shark are about to pounce on the little guy but he remains defiant till the last minute. The reference material I gave the artist was "Horseshoe, black cat, kinda cartoony looking, make it lowbrow" I never expected him to come up with that, but he sure exceeded my expectations.
