MarvelAvengers
I guess I got lucky 9 days after 7 hour half sleeve (on 2/3/15) and all peeling is gone. Was only tender for 2 days, started peeling on day 4 did not itch bad at all. 2 washings a day and lotion 3+ times a day. All of the color now looks good and no dry spots. Base on most of the responses, I expected much worse. ItsNewport
itchy all over my back.... :(Still tender on a small area where they did the most color saturation... But healing well for the most part. I'm not itching just yet, still in the uncomfortable phase where any kind of stretching, bending or movement in general feels like having bad sunburn slapped with a cricket bat. Yesterday was not an enjoyable day! Colored Guy
I have 2 similar fresh tattoos, both on the inside of the upper arm. Both have irritations from the seam on my dress shirts. The first one done, the scab is off but the one from last week has a scab in the same place. It looks like it will be okay. Kimmie
Day 11 and I appear to be in the home stretch but the itchiness has been unreal. I literally prefer the feeling of being tattooed. ItsNewport
8 days post backpiece and no itching as yet. All healing nicely save for a few really dark black spots that are dry as a nun's chuff, but that's nothing i didn't expect. Feel like i've really lucked out on the healing for both sessions so far, which tells me i'm due an absolute bitch! suburbanxcore
I'm not typically one to say much about healing tattoos, but I just got the inside of my ankle done the other day and it's still swollen as hell. It seems to be healing fine otherwise, but man is it swollen and a little tender. Also had a session on my arm the other day that's healing wonderfully. suburbanxcore
Still a little scabby, but otherwise fine. It was definitely swollen and tender, but I guess I always forget that's been the case with my leg tattoos. My arm, on the other hand, has healed up great. tatB and Gingerninja 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/2689-in-this-thread-we-commiserate-about-healing-our-fresh-tattoos/?page=27#findComment-109914 Share on other sites

MarvelAvengers
I feel like I'm getting off easy. Second one this month. Got the tattoo Monday night. Tenderness gone and started peeling Thursday eveningand about 80% peeled right now with zero itching. Thailawson
Lucky you! Freaking winter weather got my skin so dry! For some reason my skin is not taking the gold color so well. Been a month and it's still dry and itchy. s3rndpt
Had some work done Thursday, and woke up yesterday to giant flakes of purple and green skin everywhere. Oh well. This session doesn't itch the way the last session did, so I'll count my blessings and deal. I thought I was going to have to rip my arm off after the one in January. Tight-Lines
I had my lower leg done on Friday and am regretting it. Healing by the ankle for me is the worst. sophistre
This tattoo is only 'fresh' in the long-term view of things, because it's healed but less than a year old. And I SCRATCHED IT today. D: It's just two very thin cuts (I think maybe the cat did it? I can't for the life of me remember cutting myself) but I saw them earlier this afternoon and made SUCH A FACE. Why! Why on one of my tattoos! I am thinking ahead to when I have more and making even more ugly faces, because god knows I am a clumsy derp sometimes. My poor tattoos. Thailawson
You know...I really hate that second week of healing. Seems like its extra itchy this winter for me. Maybe it's the dry air. bongsau
Got the underside of my buns and thighs tattooed yesterday. Today, I've got a swollen ass, shuffling my footsteps like a zombie and my butt sticks to the toilet seat. oh, and the upper butt and lower back was tattooed one week ago, so the top of my ass is itchy as hell. yeeesh. /nowhiners Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/2689-in-this-thread-we-commiserate-about-healing-our-fresh-tattoos/?page=27#findComment-111069 Share on other sites
