Agreed! Aaron Coleman is an awesome tattooer. Seems to be a nice guy too. I ordered a shirt months back and he sent a whole bunch of goodies and a personal note. Was a nice touch.

Aaron Coleman is super cool. Met him through the Stells last year at a convention.

On Saturday, I have an appointment to finish my hare/dragon kite! Then I'll be down to only one unfinished piece on my body. I feel so unbalanced. Isn't funny how something so unimportant in the grand scheme of things can mess with your head?

I had finally achieved a measure of balance until I started my side-piece last month. Now I'm left heavy and starting to wonder what to do with the right side . . . 

We didn't finish the left side Monday like we had hoped, and I've got a destination beach wedding/vacation to attend in early July, so I couldn't schedule my 3rd and last side-piece session until early August. It's close, but poop.

Finishing up my shin piece today, super excited since I normally get my pieces in one session. Unfortunately she only had time to do the outline for this one, these last three weeks have felt so slow moving!

@SStu Balance is so elusive. I'm rocking only an outline on my left thigh (hip to knee) until August! Being a WIP is just like life, I suppose. Enjoy your destination wedding. Sounds like fun!

Next appointment with Scott Sylvia isn't until October sixth to continue my Fudo/Dragon sleeve. However, Scott does have a walk in day once a month and I'm pretty sure I'll be going in and getting a design of the wall the first weekend of August.

I just got an appointment with Sarah Hurst @ Vivid Tattoo in Knoxville for a celebration tattoo on September 29th. It will be my final day of work, starting the next chapter (retirement)!

Does it take that long to get an appt with her?  It looks like you have to stop in the shop first to get the appt, then again to get the tattoo  - I'm traveling and having to make 2 trips to Knoxville might not be doable.

I'm getting my forearm done on august the 10th. Booked in may if I recall correct. 7 years since my last tat, and I am itching something fierce! Been thinking about getting a waiting-tattoo to kill the wait, haha..

Scheduled for that day, because it is my last day at work. Once you have been to Sarah a few times she will book you on an email. She has a way to handle out-of-town clients, just email her. She likes cash, bourbon, and cool rocks.

Kiku is within the top 3 of my list of next artists to get tattooed by right next to Greg Whitehead. So so envious. My hometown Inksmith & Rogers will be up there too.

Still need to hit a convention. A great list for sure! Dobleman is an awesome tattooer, I remember thinking it was super cool when Scott Sylvia tattooed me a machine they did together.

@jnin - Scott is crazy fast! I swear that I had just sat down and he was like "you are done". What did you get from him? Is it your profile picture?

I have the drawing and its better than anything I had thought up in my head, I'm booked and ready to go the first weekend of August.  I've got just 7 hours booked: 2 on Saturday and 5 on Sunday everyone's telling me thats enough for a good start.

I have several tattoos from Scott. He is indeed very fast! When he tattooed me with that Dobleman collaboration machine I was getting my snake/roses combo (Yeah the profile pic). But I also have a girl head, a shark drinking beer (lol) and another sleeve currently in progress by him. He's too cool of a dude to not get tons of work from. I'll get to other people on my list one day, just not sure when yet! You have a killer collection btw.

I was going to post in here this morning that I was off to see Jeff P. at Art Work Rebels about filling some space on my leg, but I didn't and got tattooed anyway!  Forgot to snap a pic before he wrapped it all up, but keep your eyes peeled in the Lowdown tomorrow...
