Got a good Saturday plan in the works coming up in a few weeks with an overnight babysitter and then one of my favorite events of the year  at Leviticus Tattoo and then possibly checking out the Minneapolis Tattoo Convention just to see what it's like. No specific plans to get a second tattoo that day but I guess one never can know for sure what will happen.

Super stoked, getting my jap half sleeve done this weekend in Thessaloniki!! 2 days 7 hours each. Going on a 4 day trip with the girlfriend to do it!

Koi on the outside, and an Oni on the inner bicep... Been waiting/planning/searching for 2 years for this peace, and here i am on the precipice of the needles.. and actually found myself dreaming that i went to a different tattoo shop, and forgot to tell some random artist about the oni, and the tattoo came out completely f'd up hahahaha

Ill definitely upload pics when its done!!

I reached out to Topper at Philadelphia Eddie's about a potential appointment in April, fingers crossed.

And I might check out a local shop in the near future and pick some flash off the wall as soon as I'm not either sick or working.

I booked my flight and my stay in San Jose, I have the consultation date, I have the deposit; I'm coming for you Horitomo.  March better get here fast so I can get this process started!  I will probably say something similar after the consultation when I set my appointment to start.

Me and the lady on the phone both said "March" when she asked when I wanted my appointment and I said I would need a little time so I could get my schedule for college, so we went with it.  I only have so much figured out so far: Back piece, something Horitomo is excited to do with MonMon Cats, something Horitomo hasn't gotten to do at all or wants to do on a large scale but hasn't yet.  I'm going in loaded with a notepad of ideas and references from my university library but I want to decide together.  I have these very basic ideas so far, Fuujin/Raijin, Momotaro/Peach, Nekomata with Obake/Yurei inside.  I'm still doing homework on it slowly but I ultimately want his wisdom on the subject especially since I don't understand the back as a canvas very well.

So some updates on my upcoming tattoos:

I walked into the local shop I've been wanting to check out tonight and tried to get a walk in, but unfortunately the guy I wanted to get tattooed by had to be somewhere tonight and didn't have time. But the good news is I have an appointment for tomorrow and I picked this awesome Cap Coleman dragon design. The guy doing the tattoo is Wes Garvick, who is on the short list of local artists I really want something by. Love his no nonsense, heavy black style. I also did end up booking with Topper in April. He's going to be doing a really vintage and classy lady liberty design for me.
