Terry Vining
I agree with everyone else let it settle in and check it out.It may be a little swollen and be distorting it a little . Our Endless Days
I'm not thinking it's so much an "ink" problem, but instead partly a "skin" and ability to heal thing and partly a "tattoist's method" result. with nearly all of my tattoos, the black in them usually get huge mongoloid, gator skin scabs. Should I keep the scab dry, it kind of sucks because its right in the crease of my arm and moves alot. It seems to be a little cracked. I hope that the ink stays in :/ Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/2311-tattoo-scabbing-question/?page=2#findComment-38252 Share on other sites
ian
Have you talked to the person that actually gave you the tattoo? He should be able to give you much more solid information than random people on an internet forum. This is a great place to BS and talk tattoos but some things, such as this IMO, should be discussed with the person that applied the tattoo as he'll be able to address the many concerns that you seem to have. cfgsteak
I live in a really dry climate and tend to scab pretty badly...I'm going to try the lotion prior to the tattoo thing...couldnt hurt. Matt22091
I always scab up, on every tattoo that I have had. I was just wondering what everyone else who scabs does Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/2311-tattoo-scabbing-question/?page=2#findComment-38255 Share on other sites

Matt22091
Just leave it and DON'T PICK!!! ;) haha. Indeed I won't. It's like cracking though from the location of the scab on my arm. I hope the color stays ! Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/2311-tattoo-scabbing-question/?page=2#findComment-38351 Share on other sites
JAllen
all of the outline was done and healed before the color was added so i'd say any distortion you notice is from the healing of color. if it was crooked, it would've been crooked from the beginning and i think you'd have noticed. posterboy7596
Posterboy, what's the 10% that doesn't get lotion?..LOLI don't think she lotions her armpits or her butthole ;) Matt, I'm not sure if the question about how bad the scabs were was for me or not, so I'll answer it anyway... Mine were usually as bad as the one in your picture or worse. Adison
If no where else scabbed up like that....i think your artist chewed up that area. It might need to get touched up there...or that bit could just end up having that milky kind of scarred look. I dont know about everyone else but ive never seen scabss like that unless the artist chewed up the skin. :/ Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/2311-tattoo-scabbing-question/?page=2#findComment-39706 Share on other sites
