I am a newbie here, although I've been a regular lurker in the past, love the interviews especially Valarie from FST.

Anyway I thought I would let this community know that there is a new gallery exhibition space opening in Minerva Lodge Tattoo Club, it is above the tattoo studio & roughly 100m2.

First exhibition is a street art show.

The shows are all free, we will have regular viewing evenings with plenty of free booze & nibbles.

Forcing myself to use more black or learn how to use it better. Feel like I am improving but still have plenty to learn thats for sure.

I've gotten kind of obsessed with stone litho--I didn't even know what lithography WAS a few months ago and now I basically live in the print shop. I'm still figuring things out, but here are a couple pieces I've been ruining my back with this spring, both editions of 11 on somerset and BFK printmaking papers.

I'm going to learn to etch copper plates next, I think.

@semele My grandpa owned a litho shop when he lived in the states, and then my aunt took it over for a while. Now, she only does design. Kinda bummed that the actual printing isn't being done anymore. I really liked going to the shop as a kid. Those are great prints that you've made. I especially like the ocean ones.

I finished this painting this morning. A friend commissioned it for her two year old daughter who loves Snoopy. It was super fun to do and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The skeleton is for size comparison, and because skeletons make everything better.
