Ursula
These paintings are done by a guy who calls himself Taco Werewolf. I wish I was in Florida so I could take a photo of the letter he sent me (I purchased a painting from him online). In the letter he mentions putting his finger print on the back of the painting as well as signing it with his real name too just to make sure. Anyways I think they are pretty great and at $100 I can see why they are all sold but one. If you go to his website there is a very detailed description of each painting expelaining why he painted it and what it means. He's just some weird dude who is really into Obama. irezumi
that shit is brilliant, is that a goddamn frankenstein reagan he's hanging out with? Does all of this equal green skin upon the face of Al Gore? Or should I call him FRANKENGORE? Hahahahaa. I was watching Al Gore's endorsement of Barack Obama last June and got the idea that all of the people and politicians who keep talking about ways to free ourselves from foreign oil have fully neglected the advantages of GAY POWER!! Taco Werewolf ftw Ursula
Ursula
@JAllen @irezumi I wish he still had a picture of the one I bought. It's title was "Sailor Obama Meets The Girl With The Golden Skull" it's all about Obama being seduced by alien latino chicks in bikinis. I just found a picture of it on his Facebook page, hopefully this link works hahaha oh man there's some here i haven't seen before like this one "Meet Me At Center Court While I Turn Into A Werewolf" "The Christmas Bailout Of Taco Filled Cat Bellies" JAllen and Tight-Lines
gougetheeyes
This guy's paintings are pretty phenomenal, and I mean that in the sincerest, most non-ironic way possible. That is an Obama UFO made of tighty-whities. @Ursula, you may have made my morning. Ursula and Kev

Ursula
@gougetheeyes I agree, when I got mine in the mail I was even more impressed. He's apparently had no art training but still has figured out things like making the top lip darker than the bottom and shading the edges of round objects. Best $100 painting I own. gougetheeyes

MGblues
I don't know if this counts as art. They don't exist except as a Photoshopped mock-up on Tauntr.com, but if they did, I'd own a pair. Ursula
Tattoo related-Robert Ryan: Sanitary Electric: Online Portfolio of Robert Ryan I love his work. I actually own two of the paintings in that portfolio. His lady is a fibre artist like me so obviously I have mad respect for her too. Let me go see if I can find some images of her work..... Ok found some stuff on her Facebook page.. She does free hand machine embroidery (some machines are programmed and all you do is press start, hers she actually guides to make the drawings). Her name is Meghan McAleavy If you were at the tattoo convention a couple weeks ago in SF and saw Robert's banner, she made that too. kylegrey, Kev and Patriot Ink Tattoo

JAllen
I like this fella's stuff, but he needs to call Pushead and say thanks a few thousand times... i'd say he's looked at just as much mucha stuff as well, which is cool. you can see those influences but not so similar to either one. irezumi
Wow. I wouldn't have guessed that anyone besides Pushead would've done that. That specific example is way too close to call it simply influenced. Grayson Perry. Yeah, it's a huge pic, but its the best way to see the whole quilt, and in its true color. *hm. apparently LST won't let me post it at actual photo size. click here to view it at a size to appreciate it Tight-Lines, Ursula and Duffa
