Nozza
Hey Guys, Got my second ribcage via tebori completed 10 days ago, healing has been great apart from one little spot that has snapping and a bit thick. Today during work it either ripped off because of stretching the arms and back to pick up heavy weights or it just naturally fell off (it was hanging off the skin for dear life for a couple days), when i checked it out on my break i noticed it looked a bit deep and noticeable in that area (first photo) and maybe some ink loss?, this got me a bit worried and anxious.. after i had a shower (second photo), its still evident but doesn't look too bad. Do you think this will need touching up or will a new scab form and it should be ok and even out in the next week or two? I honestly dont want the touch up due to the demanding job (always moving, stretching out, heavy stuff etc) and the humid/hot weather will make the healing process again tricky and could just end up in the same situation as now.. it doesn't really bother me as its not big and only noticeable close up. What do you guys reckon? Thank you 🙂 Edited December 13, 2022 by Nozza
Hogrider
Tattoos take 4-6 weeks to heal. There is nothing you can or should do until they heal. Enjoy your tattoo, you'll know in a few weeks if it needs a touch up. Anyone who tries to predict how a tattoo will heal is usually more Nostradumbass than Nostradamus. Nozza
Yes i gotta keep reminding myself of that 4-6 weeks. It's only more so now because the first one healed so fast like within a week with no issues. It's just now because it's a bit more slower and my job not making the healing any easier hahaha. Thank you! SStu
