donbcivil
I rode a few bikes back in the late 80s/early 90s, started getting back into motorcycles in 2007 because I had a long commute. I have a 2009 Triumph Speed Triple (By the Crowfoot Glacier up in the Canadian Rockies Panoramio - Photos of the World) And a 2010 Tiger 800 XC. Did I mentioned I LOVE me some Triumph? :) Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/1273-motorcycle-riders-out-there/?page=2#findComment-66320 Share on other sites
deadsp0t
I have a 1997 CBR 900RR(Race Replica). I'm a big fan of Moto GP, WSB and AMA Super Bikes. Been around and on bikes my entire life. My pops road raced and drag raced in the 70's-80's and also owned a Kawasaki dealership way back when. My uncle drag races in the MiRock series currently in the 5.60 index class. My RR My skid lid Uncles race bikes My pop racing way back when.. Although inline 4cyl bikes are my thing I like all bikes, one day I won't be able to lean over the tank and off the side and I'll have to make the switch to something more comfy Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/1273-motorcycle-riders-out-there/?page=2#findComment-70849 Share on other sites
jimstanley
@hawk That pan is tough as nails. My mom started dating my dad in church, but would only marry him if the whole party rode their Harleys home for the reception, so thats what happened in full regalia. Wish I had the picture on my computer. Can't think of a better wedding photo. Came out east for some reason, and only just now hearing about triumphs. Harleys are all my familys rode since my great grandpa got his living in LA. Anyone know any good spots to learn about their history? All I really know about it is that royal enfield got bought by triumph... Any chance anyone here was around when that went down and wants to tell some kid about it? I seen a couple of those old enfields on the NYC streets and they always get me pretty excited. @slayer9019 Didn't know triumph made hard tails, you know the year on that pretty piece of machine? Any chance I saw anyones bikes at the bk invitational this year?
