Hi all, filmmaker and overall tattoo enthusiast here, I'm based in Toronto, Canada, and currently working on a short documentary film about tattoos as a source of healing and body reclamation - tattooing over scars, in order to deal with trauma, to boost self-esteem, etc. I'd love to hear your stories and, if anyone is based in Toronto or Ontario, would love to reach out to potentially interview you! This is a film for my Masters degree, so it will be not-for-profit. 🙂 Just excited to start a conversation around tattooing and its beauty.
