Thomas94
Hi, had this tattoo for just over 3 weeks now. The scabs have been and gone, and I've noticed there are some white ish bits in some places. I'm aware of the 'milky' stage after scabbing, but the two white bits toward the bottom are lower than the rest of the tattoo like it's missing skin. These were also the last bits to scab, just wondering if this is normal or will need touching up? Hogrider
I can't tell from the pics, but it takes 4-6 week to heal a tattoo, longer if it went in rough. Nothing you can do until it heals, so just enjoy your favorite adult beverage or edible and chill out. Worst case scenario is you have it touched up. tina, SStu and Thomas94 2 1 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/12247-is-this-something-to-worry-about/#findComment-157449 Share on other sites
oboogie
Also, quit drowning it in Aquaphor or whatever you are using. Just let it dry heala at this point. Thomas94
Ah, I might be guilty of the old Aquaphor drowning! Kept finding conflicting stuff online regarding keeping it moisturised, so thanks for that 👍 On 9/23/2022 at 2:01 PM, oboogie said: Also, quit drowning it in Aquaphor or whatever you are using. SStu
I just needs to breathe a bit. Any moisturizer at all isn't a requirement. mhm2020
Hogrider, the OP said he would stop over-moisturizing and you posted a snarky reply. How do you expect him to respond?
