Great time getting tattooed by Valerie yesterday. It really comes through how much she and Stewart care about what they're doing. Weird moment recognising the guy from Stewart's blog with the Saga/Reinke sleeves - those are some awesome looking tattoos (sorry if I'm being weird again and you're reading this, ha!).

I saw this on her instagram yesterday and said, "FUUUUUUUUUUCK," is what I said. Sometimes, I see a tattoo so good that it almost makes me mad that it's on someone else. Almost. Really, though, I'm just happy that it exists. Enjoy it, because it's one of the best eagles I've ever seen.

At Goldrush tattoo with my brother n law. He's getting his first tattoo. I'm going to support him and get one as well.

Man, that's always been one a my favorite lines..."I hadda get one too, HE was getting one, an I didn't want him to be like all freaked out!"

This is the latest from Lindsey Carmichael of Goldrush tattoo. He's a solid guy and did a fantastic job!!!! My Brother-n-law was in town and we talked about what to do after lunch..... What better way to spend a saturday?!?!???

I just love the shading on that skull.

Well, here's some progress.

Probably only got one session left (touchups, getting some brighter purple on the bottom lady's robes, all that jazz). A long, long way from where it was 9 months ago :D

As always, artist is Rachi Brains at Black Throne

(ETA: somehow I always stuff up these attachments... click to embiggen)

Very nice! I love Rachi's work.

Also, lol @ embiggens - I think detect a cromulent Simpson's reference.

diggin that!

Thanks everyone, I'm really chuffed with it. It's kind of weird, I was out last night and a couple of times people came up and were like 'you're the guy with that eagle by Valerie' - Instagram and the internet is crazy like that.

Also, maybe it's just where it is, but it's healing up really well. My other tattoos have tended to scab up quite a lot, they come out fine in the end, but this one really hasn't very much - I bought some Dr. Bronner's liquid soap to clean it up with, recommended by Valerie, and haven't really done anything else to it.

You're wearing a celebrity!

This is my new leg by Robert Ryan. Had a great time at Electric on Thursday, and this is definitely my new favorite tattoo. I have a feeling I'll be back there a lot...

Nice, saw that sucker on instagram! I visited Electric for the first time a few weeks ago and I, too, have a feeling I'll be making some trips down there. Seriously incredible shop.

I haven't made an addition to this thread since page 30 something. My time has finally come!

Richard Stell, guest spotting at Smith Street Tattoo in NYC. It was an awesome experience. Richard is hilarious. He had my abs cramping up at one point from laughing to much... or it was the hypoglycemia setting in. Regardless it was a lot of fun.

My hubby is not on LST yet anyway but I am excited about his new tattoo...this was after his 1st session w/Kim Saigh a couple months ago. I don't seem to have a pic from his second session but a lot of black was added and some cool swirls. Tomorrow he will get color in the flowers...
