Hi all. I just had these doves added on to my existing tattoo. I wasn’t sure what to have to fill in the space so I said shading and doves. I liked the negative space doves but thought these being black would stand out a bit more. Not sure how I feel about them at the moment, I know they will lighten up a bit as it was only done yesterday but I feel like the dark and light contrast is a bit too much. What do you think? I feel like it’s two separate images rather than one now. Or do the light and dark doves work together, really not sure! Lol.

Thanks @SStu, I appreciate that mate. I think it’s the usual day after moment where I think should I have gone for that and second guessing myself! I’m sure once it heals up I will be happy with it. 🙂

I just had some more added to the dove and clock to try and tie both images up. I was happy with it but wanted to fill the gaps so I added the cloud and sun rays. I think it looks quite busy and am still getting used to it but I did want to tie both images up so I’m happy to complete it! It’s only been a week so still healing yet. 🙂

I got my left knee done yesterday, and it is HUGELY swollen.  Absolutely brutal. I couldn’t sleep last night because it hurt so much. I’ll be glad when it starts healing. Even my elbows didn’t hurt as much as the knee.

HURRAY! I DID IT! Hahaha. 

It's feeling a little better today, but it is still oozing plasma. ICKY. Still love it!

I also got a caricature of one of my favorite musicians on the back of my right thigh, but it is black and grey, which always heal super easily on me. I keep forgetting it's there. Haha. I'll have to post a photo of it soon.

Just had the 2nd session on the top of my arm. Reworked an old tribal and added an eye and some dot work. Quite hard to see as it wraps around. 🙂
