Thanks, guys. My artist wouldn't have tattooed him. He planned to tell him to eff off. Sadly, the other guys didn't see it happen, but I promise you they heard about it later. The place was so packed—it was all a bit chaotic. I'm just glad my artist stood up for me. He's a great guy. I love him.

@oboogie UGH. What is wrong with people? It never ceases to amaze me when people, especially bug guys, think they can push us out of the way. Totally rad that your artist saw what happened and didn't tolerate it. I'm glad that you got a cool cuppa out of it!

@unigoat Hot Copper looks like a super rad shop. I follow them on IG. Lots of cool work coming out of there. Oz seems to have some amazing artists. You're lucky!

@Gingerninja I don't have anything to compare them with, but I've definitely got no complaints. Really great place in terms of how it's laid out and looks as well, and there's an outdoor rooftop area to sit while you're waiting, which is pretty sweet. Huge difference to the only other tattooist I've been in to (8 years ago with a mate who was getting one) which was a small, pokey little place and one angry 400lb guy doing the tattooing. 

Good to hear someone else likes their work - as I said I've got nothing to compare them with so it's reassuring to know other people think they're awesome too!

I think it looks great the way it is. It's up to you if you want to change it but I'd say leave it alone. Give it a few months at least. Seriously though it does look cool.

it's a cool tattoo,

but don't keep it so wet.whatever you're putting on it,apply it VERY lightly.

keep it clean,and whatever lotion ,etc you put on it,keep it light.

what are you putting on it BTW ?

Ongoing piece. When it's done it will start at my ankle and connect to my chest piece. It's a tiger and samurai on my leg and dragon on my ribs/stomach. Just outline and shading so far on the dragon. We decided to work our way up.

Made another Oslo trip last week to start a cover up on my lower stomach. While i was there i picked up a namakubi from Nicholas at Blue Arms.

The cover up is ongoing and i don't mind admitting i'm very apprehensive about the next session! This was not a fun tattoo to get although Marius did his best to keep my spirits up and a visit from LST's own Mr @Iwar definitely kept me distracted from the significant pain!

@suburbanxcore Indeed it was. He said he'll be back in June (for the Nick Cave show ) so you'll have another opportunity!
