So great, @Scott R! What were you doing in Austin (besides getting an awesome tattoo)?

that was it my friend, I remember telling valerie in 2012 that I was going to see about him(steve) doing my next tattoo but I slept on it. That whole shop is kicking ass.

My pug the day I got it done, first tattoo :)

That is adorable. I have a pug that brings so much goofy joy into my life...she's such a nerd! Always making me laugh. I've wondered lately how she could be translated into a tattoo, since they're so funny lookin'. This is a really cute one. I love how they captured the back wrinkles.

1 shot Zeis Tiger/Snake by Jason Phillips at FTW in Oakland, CA.

Jason slays both Japanese and American traditional. If you're ever in the Bay Area, you should definitely book an appointment with him. So happy with how this turned out. So glad I don't ever have to tattoo my chest ever again.

You and I and Jason should go to an A's game, soon.

This is true. But I'm just glad I got the majority of it out of the way, specifically the sternum.

Yeah, the worst part is already done. The rest is way more tolerable.

Here's my new tattoo by Unmon at LTW (Barcelona). Line by machine, shading using tebori (holy shit is it slow!)

Thank you :) this was taken from a picture of my own pug. I didn't want a realistic portrait, so I went with the neo traditional sort of style; its captures her unique face without looking like a have a photo taped to my knee haha :)

Going in on Friday to finally throw some colour into my elbow. Really looking forward to it.

Plus then I can cover up these burns, which will be rad. Uh, assuming that you can tattoo over burnt tissue, of course. I still have to ask my artist.

EDIT: Doh. I've been gone for too long, I mixed up this and the upcoming tattoo thread.

off to see Grime on Friday for another session on my back. It's really coming along and while I'd rather not put it on the interwebz, if you see me at the SFO convention I'd have no problem showing it...

I hope to have my back done by Grime one day! I'm sure it's amazing.
