Do veins that stick out effect the way a tattoo looks?

I was considering getting a tattoo on the side of my arm below the elbow. My arm has a large bulging vein going from elbow to the side of my wrist that noticeably sticks out when my arm is relaxed. I was wondering if getting a tattoo that goes over the vein will look strange due to how much the vein pops out? Anyone that has experience with veiny arms who have gotten tattoos over their protruding veins, is the look of the tattoo effected by them?

Anything that affects the way the skin looks will affect the way the tattoo looks. The more important question is, "does it matter?" and the answer to that is no. Get your tattoo and don't worry about your veins.

I agree, it will still be there but you would imagine with a tattoo it will be less noticeable if anything. I’m sure it will look fine.
